Catalina Campout: Backpacker Packing List
What should I bring to Catalina Island?
If you do not have a backpacking-specific backpack, do not worry. You can add gear haul so you can put your belongings in a duffel, suitcase, or storage bin and Catalina Backcountry will haul it from one campsite to the next.
BACKPACKER PACKING LIST
Tent or Tarp for shelter (hammocks are not allowed)

Sleeping bag
Pillow
Trekking poles strongly recommended
A headlamp or flashlight
Hiking shoes/boots + good socks
Backpack with water storage (we recommend hiking with at least 2L of water for these hikes)
