Michelle graduated from the University of Michigan's School of Natural Resources and Environment with a MS in Behavior, Environment & Communication. She has held positions with several non-profits focused on conservation and climate change mitigation, most recently The World Wildlife Fund and The Climate Registry (TCR). As a Senior Manager at TCR, she facilitated diverse stakeholder groups working on best-practice standards for greenhouse gas reduction strategies and developed educational resources for audiences ranging from Senior VPs at Fortune 500 companies to human resource managers. She has led dozens of online and in-person trainings and has mentored university students from her undergraduate alma mater, the University of Virginia, in exploring options for their career paths and supervising internships. She has participated in and managed multi-year contracts and grants from foundations and government agencies, including the US EPA, US Department of Energy, California EPA and the California Air Resources Board.
